Objectives
Woodwinds and Brass:
- Properly assemble the instrument.
- Display correct posture.
- Display correct hand position.
- Accurately form an embouchure.
- Produce a tone on the instrument.
- Perform care and maintenance on the instrument.
Mallets:
- Correctly set up the instrument.
- Display correct mallet grip.
- Display correct posture and playing position.
- Perform a single stroke and rebound with proper technique.
- Perform care and maintenance on the instrument.
